What You'll Do (Your Impact)

• Train & Certify Future Professionals: Deliver high-quality, engaging career technical training that prepares students to attain industry-recognized clinical medical assisting certifications.
• Launch Student Careers: Actively provide graduates with strong job leads, monitor their placement outcomes, and build pipelines into full-time jobs, higher education, or advanced military training.
• Provide Individual Support: Offer comprehensive and personalized case management to track student progress, maximize graduation rates, and foster student achievement.
• Manage the Lab & Classroom: Maintain an exceptionally organized, clean, and safe medical training environment that replicates real-world clinical spaces and inspires professional learning.
• Model Professional Standards: Hold students accountable to workplace standards, including clinical dress codes and codes of conduct, while serving as a mentor for Career Success Standards.
• Collaborate for Success: Partner cross-functionally with academic, residential, and placement teams to ensure all Department of Labor (DOL) performance goals are met or exceeded while maintaining flawless data integrity.

What You Bring

• Credentials: Certified, licensed, or accredited as a Medical Assistant (or related healthcare credential) in the state in which the center is located, or accredited by a recognized national professional trade organization.
• Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in teaching or a related clinical healthcare field. Previous Job Corps experience is highly preferred.
• License: A valid state Driver’s License is required, along with meeting company insurability requirements.
• Core Strengths: Excellent clinical instincts, strong classroom management skills, clear professional communication, and a passion for adult education.

Physical Requirements

This is an active training role inside a mock medical lab environment. Candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, stoop, and crouch throughout the training day.
• Lift, pull, push, or carry up to 40 pounds (and safely assess heavier clinical loads to ask for team assistance).
