Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Materials Management Clinical Coordinator in Joplin, MO. The role focuses on coordinating materials and inventory across Freeman West and affiliated sites, ensuring timely supply availability and cost-effective logistics.

You will lead bid analyses, develop supply-change strategies, and work closely with nursing, surgery, and ancillary departments to support patient care operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting, (ICU, Medical/Surgical or Emergency Department nursing preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or other clinical discipline and/or management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solicits clinical supply bids, analyzes, presents and develops strategy for implementation of supply changes approved by the SURP committee.
• Enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans for evaluations and conversions that affect manufacturer production and change at the system level.
• Coordinates procedures for supply conversion and inventory management with Purchasing and Central Supply to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
• Reports to Supply Chain Operations Manager.

Reports to Supply Chain Operations Manager.
