Job summary

Yale New Haven Health at Bridgeport Hospital is seeking a Massage Therapist to provide Massage, Reiki, and Guided Relaxation/Meditation to patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team and adhering to infection control policies.

The candidate should have a CT Licensed Massage Therapist credential with a minimum of five years’ hospital or oncology experience, and strong communication skills to educate patients and staff while maintaining safety and dignity in care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CT Licensed Massage Therapist, preferably in hospital or outpatient oncology settings.
• CT Licensed Massage Therapist and valid CT Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Clinical leadership in delivering Massage, Reiki, and Guided Relaxation/Meditation services to patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team and adhere to infection control policies.
• Develop and implement massage practice protocols; participate in educational programming and clinical research related to massage in cancer care.
• Educate health care professionals and trainees about massage therapies and participate in program outreach.
