Responsibilities

• Provide brief therapeutic massage treatments to patients and staff in a healthcare setting.
• Adapt treatment approaches for diverse patient populations and clinical environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Develop positive professional relationships with patients and staff.
• Coordinate scheduling with supervisors and department leadership.
• Set up, maintain, and break down treatment spaces and equipment, including massage chairs.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming treatment environment.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and events as required.
• Support promotional and outreach efforts for massage therapy services.
• Uphold BIDMC Winchester Center for Cancer Care standards.
