Qualifications

• Knowledge of oncology massage therapy; additional training preferred.
• Ability to provide chair massage for extended periods and deliver treatments through clothing when appropriate.
• Strong sensory awareness and effective communication with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
• Experience in oncology, hospice, or physical therapy settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide brief therapeutic massage treatments to patients and staff in healthcare settings.
• Adapt treatment approaches for diverse patient populations and clinical environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Develop positive professional relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Coordinate scheduling with supervisors and department leadership.
• Set up, maintain, and break down treatment spaces and equipment (massage chairs).
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional treatment environment.
• Attend department trainings, meetings, and events as required.
• Support promotional and outreach efforts for massage therapy services.
• Uphold the hospital's mission, values, policies, and service standards.
