What You'll Do

• Lead and manage the nursing component of the organ transplant program.
• Ensure continuing nursing job satisfaction and fulfillment through appropriate coordinator responsibilities and workload.
• Ensure patient safety and quality assurance, especially in the development of the Living Donor Program.
• Establish quality assurance metrics and focus for clinical nurse coordinators.
• Manage responsibilities with the managers of the OR, ICUs, and inpatient floors.
• Supervise a multidisciplinary team and serve as a liaison between nursing, surgical, and medical leadership.
• Drive excellence in heart transplant care.
• Other duties as assigned.
