Job summary

Lifespan Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking a dedicated ambassador to empower individuals with disabilities and support inclusive community participation.

The role requires a 4-year degree in human services, driver’s license, and relevant MH/DD/SA experience. Expect a full-time schedule with flexibility for appointments, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• A verified Qualified Professional within the MH/DD/SA system of care with a bachelor’s degree in a human service field and two years of supervised mh/dd/sa experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Access to a vehicle for day-to-day job performance and approved automobile insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in community settings, promoting independence and meaningful engagement.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement person-centered plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with program policies.

Schedule

The Ambassador's regular work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the individuals served including occasional adjustments to work hours for appointments community activities trainings meetings or other program needs.
