We are seeking anAPP Clinical Managerto act as a liaison between all APP Midwifeproviders and the service line leadership. This position will include both clinical and leadership responsibilities supporting theOBGYNdepartment, specifically full-scope and OBED teams,in Indianapolis.

  • Full-time, Days
  • 80% Clinical and 20% Administrative
  • Work directly with 6-8 physicians and 23 APPs
  • 38Total APPS- including Full-time, Part-time and Supplemental

Key Responsibilities:

  • APP Clinical Managers oversee APP scheduling, professional development opportunities, recruitment, coordinating onboarding for new hires, clinical supervision, and team dynamics
  • Advocate at the system level for department APPs, ensure communication is streamlined with teams, regular check-ins, oversee annual evaluations and quality initiatives, department champion, collaborate with physician leadership and dept administrative leadership

Qualifications:

  • CNM certificationrequired
  • 5 years of APP experience required
  • Midwifery experience in an academic and/or high-risk setting.
