Job description

We are seeking an APP Clinical Manager to act as a liaison between all APP Department (Coleman Center, Midwives, Urogynecology, GynOnc, MFM, OBED) providers and the service line leadership. This position will include both clinical and leadership responsibilities supporting the OBGYN department in Indianapolis.

Position Details:

  • Full-time, Days
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • No weekends, holidays, or call
  • 80% Clinical and 20% Administrative
  • Work directly with 6-8 physicians and 2-3 Team Leads
  • 34 Total APPS- including Full-time, Part-time and Supplemental

Key Responsibilities:

  • APP Clinical Managers oversee APP scheduling, professional development opportunities, recruitment, coordinating onboarding for new hires, clinical supervision, and team dynamics.
  • Advocate at the system level for department APPs, ensure communication is streamlined with teams, regular check-ins, oversee annual evaluations and quality initiatives, department champion, collaborate with physician leadership and department administrative leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of APP experience required.
  • RN or APP experience in OB/GYN. Prior leadership experience required.
