Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Dallas is seeking a Clinical Director to join the team and lead ambulatory surgical services. The director will manage daily clinical operations, drive process improvements, and partner with the ASC Administrator on policies and fiscal accountability to enhance patient care and outcomes.

The role requires a TX RN license with a BSN or higher, BLS/ACLS, and several years of OR/ICU and supervisory experience, along with strong communication and collaboration with

• TX RN license required for this role.
• BSN or higher degree is preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Five years OR/ICU experience in a clinical setting.
• Two or more years supervisory experience in outpatient surgery.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work well with physicians, staff and patients.

Clinical Director at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Dallas:

The Ambulatory Surgical Services Clinical Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the center's clinical departments and implements process initiatives to improve efficiency of services and patient experience. The Clinical Director of Ambulatory Surgery Center will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Outpatient Surgical Center Clinical Director will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.
• Professionals with a BSN or higher degree will only be considered.
• Current license as a TX Registered Nurse.
• Current certification in BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• At least five years operating room/critical care experience.
• At least two years supervisory experience in the outpatient surgery area.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others.
• The knowledge, skills, and abilities of a Staff Nurse are required for this position.
