Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Dallas is seeking a Clinical Manager to oversee day-to-day operating room operations and lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient experience.

You will supervise the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, manage credentialing, safety, risk management, budgeting, staffing, and policy development in collaboration with ASC administration. RN license in Texas and BSN+ required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.
• BSN or higher degree.
• Current RN license in Texas.
• 2–3 years of proven experience as a clinical manager or other managerial position.
• Experience in clinical supervision and program management.
• Budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation knowledge.
• Excellent knowledge of standards (e.g. ISO) and regulations for the clinical field.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g. patient management software).
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills for surgical procedures and management of patients.

Clinical Manager at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Dallas:

The Clinical Manager responsible for the day-to-day operations of the operating room and implements process initiatives to improve the efficiency of services and patient experience. Oversees all clinical operations of the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The Clinical Manager of Ambulatory Surgery Center will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Outpatient Surgical Center Clinical Manager will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.
• Professionals with a BSN or higher degree
• Current RN license in the state
• Minimum of two to three years proven experience as a clinical manager or other managerial position
• Experience in clinical supervision and program management
• Solid understanding of budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation procedures
• Excellent knowledge of standards (e.g. ISO) and regulations for the clinical field
• Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g. patient management software)
• Excellent communication and people skills
