Atrium Health Anson - Physician Offices in North Carolina is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time position with a 40-hour work week. Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with responsibilities that include patient preparation, vital signs, labs, and assisting physicians in procedures.

The role requires completion of an accredited practical nursing program and an active NC LPN license, with proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic medical records.

Formación

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required in the practicing state (NC).
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and room patients, obtain vital signs and document health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures and aseptic technique.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries.
• Administer medications under orders including immunizations and pain medications.
• Initiate and maintain IV therapy as allowed.
• Provide patient education and coordinate tests, refills and referrals.
• Document and communicate patient conditions accurately.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
