Job summary

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the applicable state.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• BLS certification is required per policy.
• Previous medical office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents all patient care and interactions in the medical record.
• Performs venipuncture and injections as directed.
• Conducts pre-visit planning with the care team.
• Manages vaccine and medication administration per provider orders.
• Tracks laboratory tests and reports results to the provider.
• Assists during examinations and procedures and maintains room readiness.
• Completes EMR entries and may enter orders per provider.
• Adheres to CLIA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards.
• Responds to patient inquiries for refills and scheduling.
