Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist with Super User/Analyst/Administrator experience to support the NIH at Bethesda, MD. This day shift role includes on-call coverage evenings, weekends and holidays, with potential non-routine shifts for LIS/IT projects.

The ideal candidate will modify LIS software, create and validate tests, coordinate CRIS upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and work with vendors. A 4+ year clinical lab background and NAACLS accreditation are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of four (4) years full-time specialized clinical laboratory experience in a clinical hospital laboratory.
• NAACLS-accredited Clinical Laboratory Scientist program or equivalent recognized by US Dept of Education.

Responsibilities

• Modify and maintain LIS software as assigned by the Laboratory Information Manager.
• Create new tests and modify existing tests; test and implement system changes.
• Coordinate CRIS upgrades/updates and validate CRIS change requests.
• Troubleshoot LIS issues and assist with vendor communication.
• Coordinate lab test changes with lab leadership and LAN Admin.
