Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital – Central Indiana Hancock Campus is seeking a motivated full-time Clinical Liaison who is an RN or Respiratory Therapist (RT). This role blends clinical expertise, relationship development, and patient advocacy to transition appropriate patients to AMG for continued hospital-level care.

The position covers Indianapolis area hospitals and requires daily travel to hospitals, referral sources, meetings, and prospective referral partners.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as RN or RT.
• Previous hands-on clinical experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned territory daily.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate referred patients for clinical appropriateness.
• Educate physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals about AMG’s services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral partners.
• Identify patients who may benefit from long-term acute care hospital services.
• Support timely communication and a smooth referral and admission process.
• Help increase appropriate referrals, admissions, and hospital census.
