Job summary

Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Clinical Liaison to educate the community on acute rehabilitation, develop census through face-to-face contacts, and build relationships with referral sources across the territory.

The role requires on-site work, a two-year degree minimum (bachelor's preferred in health, business or marketing), relevant licensure, a valid driver's license, and experience in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold at least an associate degree.
• Bachelor's degree in health-related, business or marketing preferred.
• Nursing, therapy or respiratory therapy license in accordance with state licensure acts.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Experience in healthcare with physicians, discharge planners, case managers and social workers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate the community on acute rehabilitation to develop a census through face-to-face contacts.
• Develop business based on the strategic goals of the rehabilitation program.
• Face-to-face connections within the territory to build relationships with referral sources to increase census.
• Identifies barriers to the admission process and creates solutions with program director assistance.
• Onsite and in-territory work through face-to-face contact with patients, families, and referral sources.
• Completes in-person in-services and presentations to educate on acute rehabilitation programs and services.
• Other duties as assigned
