Job summary

Community Rehabilitation Hospital North is seeking a Clinical Liaison to educate communities about acute rehabilitation and to develop patient census through direct outreach. The role involves in-territory visits, building relationships with referral sources, and collaborating with program leadership on admission processes.

The position emphasizes clinical liaison experience, strong communication, and the ability to present in-services about rehab services and programs.

Qualifications

• Clinical licensure required (RN, LPN, PT, PTA, OT, COTA, RRT, LMSW).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in clinical liaison, marketing, or healthcare sales.
• Strong interpersonal skills with physicians, nurses, discharge planners, case managers, social workers.
• Experience with clinical assessment and EMR systems preferred.
• Formal sales training preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Educate the community on acute rehabilitation to develop a census through face-to-face contacts.
• Develop business based on the strategic goals of the rehabilitation program.
• Face-to-face connections within the territory to build relationships with referral sources to increase census.
• Identify barriers to the admission process and create solutions with program director.
• Requires onsite and in-territory work through face-to-face contact with patients, families, and referral sources.
• Complete in-person in-services and presentations to educate on acute rehabilitation programs and services.
• Other duties as assigned.
