Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation in Athens, GA is seeking a Per Diem Clinical Liaison to support intake, pre-admission screening and admission decisions for patients referred to St. Mary's Health Care System.

You will apply clinical judgment on-site and coordinate with families, payors, and facilities to clarify options and expectations. We value licensure in RN, OT, PT or SLP, a bachelor's degree, and experience with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Clinical licensure required as RN, OT, PT or SLP.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior marketing/sales experience is a plus.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate intake and pre-admission screening.
• Perform on-site clinical judgment to determine admission suitability.
• Communicate rehabilitation options to patients and families and set expectations.
• Gather information on patient resources and benefits.
• Serve as initial contact for external case management and discharge planning with payors and facilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
