Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Richardson, TX seeks a Clinical Learning Manager to oversee day-to-day clinical education operations for nursing students. You will coordinate clinical experiences, ensure compliance, and collaborate with campus leadership to improve quality and outcomes.

The role requires a BSN/MSN or doctor­ate and RN licensure, with at least two years in clinical education, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to align placements with course objectives.

Qualifications

• BSN, MSN or doctoral degree preferred and RN licensure.
• At least two years of clinical education experience.
• Academic nursing certification preferred.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to align student needs with clinical placements.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and report clinical experience data to support strategic evaluation.
• Attend and support campus committee meetings.
• Ensure clinical quality through quarterly site walkthroughs.
• Assist with student concerns regarding clinical experiences with DCL oversight.
• Conduct faculty evaluations and stay interviews.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, and development of clinical faculty.
• Orient students and faculty to clinical experiences per Galen policies.
• Implement college-wide initiatives per DCL guidance.
• Support adherence to curriculum, assessment, and instructional models.
• Maintain clinical affiliation agreements to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with Clinical Faculty Success Specialist on readiness.
• Ensure learning experiences meet course outcomes.
• Identify and evaluate clinical agency partnerships for variety of experiences.
• Serve as campus contact to clinical agencies; escalate as needed.
