Job summary

Burke is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat speech and swallowing disorders. You will develop individualized treatment plans, lead groups, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care.

The position requires NY licensure in Speech-Language Pathology and strong communication skills. You will participate in rounds, report findings, and provide education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Licensed by NYS Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient/resident care related to speech/language and swallowing disorders.
• Diagnose and plan interventions based on evaluations and test procedures.
• Develop and document long- and short-term goals for therapy.
• Lead treatment groups and supervise rehab aides as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation and billing for services.
• Collaborate with physicians, rehab team, and family members.
