Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a Supplemental Physical Therapist who will assess patients, formulate and initiate treatment plans, and document progress. The role includes mentoring assistants and interns, and supporting program development within the rehabilitation team.

The therapist will work with direct access evaluations, coordinate care, and ensure safe, compassionate service while complying with hospital policies and standards.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Competent in mentoring and supervising staff and students.
• Demonstrates clinical leadership and program development for patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Performs comprehensive patient evaluation and develops a plan of care.
• Documents findings and progress in medical records accurately.
• Assists in program development and clinical competencies within the department.
• Supervises and mentors assistants, interns, and rehab technicians.
• Maintains safety and quality standards per Memorial Hermann policies.
• Presents topics in professional settings and contributes to department initiatives.
