Clinical Laboratory Technologist -Tissue Typing Night Shift
At Stony Brook Medicine, a Clinical Laboratory Technologist is a valuable member of our team, who provides clinical services to our patient population. Qualified candidates will demonstrate superior patient care and possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence.
NYS licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or documented eligibility including provisional/limited permit
eligibility with demonstrated relevant experience.
Experience in molecular tissue typing and molecular engraftment analysis. Certification as a Histocompatibility Technologist by the American Board for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics, CHT (ABHI) and or the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, MLS (ASCP). Documentation of histocompatibility work experience in an ASHI/CAP accredited laboratory performing high-complexity testing under CLIA '88 Regulations as currently modified.

The salary range for this position is $89,142 - $113,055 Base. The above salary range represents SBUH's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The specific salary offer will be based on the candidate's validated years of comparable experience. Any efforts to inflate or misrepresent experience are grounds for disqualification from the application process or termination of employment if hired.
