Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Stem Cell Processing

Join us as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Stem Cell Processing at Labcorp.

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced clinical lab professionals interested in a new challenge or starting their careers in Clinical Lab Science. This role is based at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. You will work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment aligned with our mission: “Improving Health, Improving Lives.”

Work Schedule & Benefits

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Assess specimen acceptability for testing based on established criteria
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures following SOPs
• Monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
• Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving
• Prepare, test, and evaluate reagents and controls
• Report accurate and timely test results
• Conduct preventative maintenance and quality control
• Manage testing supplies and assist with specimen processing as needed
• Maintain a safe work environment with proper PPE usage

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological sciences, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory requirements
• At least 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience or a MLS degree
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Proficiency with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus
• Attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to pass a color vision test
• Flexibility for overtime or shift changes based on needs
