Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology with eligibility for certification.
• Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW).
• Associates degree holders with certification as Medical Technologist/MLS/CLS are eligible.
• Graduate of a Military Program in Science with appropriate certification is eligible.

Responsibilities

• Performs and interprets laboratory tests in the Clinical Laboratory for patient care across age groups.

Education

Bachelor's degree in laboratory science / medical technology

Associates Degree in laboratory science / medical laboratory technology

Military program graduate in science with certification

Grandfathered Medical Technologist with certification
