Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions is recruiting Medical Laboratory Technicians for the Reno VA Medical Center in Reno, NV. The role involves performing full-range clinical lab testing across chemistry, hematology, blood bank, urinalysis, and coagulation, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree or higher, ASCP-BOC or AMT MLT certification, and relevant experience. On-site shift duties include weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field from an accredited program.
• Certification as MLT by ASCP-BOC or AMT is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of clinical laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, and Coagulation.
• Analyze patient specimens and report results per policies and procedures.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Ensure quality control and QA standards and document activities.
• Review and release test results with accuracy and timely turnaround.
• Maintain records in the LIS and support patient care.
