Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Experience: At least one year of clinical experience.
• Certification: ASCP BOC or equivalent.
• Career Ladder: Internal candidates must meet Path and Lab ICCE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample assessment, receiving, accessioning, processing, and testing.
• Prepare specimens for testing and ensure proper labeling.
• Perform QC testing and instrument maintenance.
• Operate automated and non-automated procedures.
• Document results and equipment issues in logs.
• Assist in education and orientation of staff as assigned.
