Job summary

Planned Parenthood Northern California is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for our San Rafael Laboratory. This full-time, on-site role involves high-quality lab testing, including STI testing, in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will work with the laboratory team to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting of results. The ideal candidate has a CLS license, a science degree, and 1–2 years of related experience, with strong QA/QA and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science with clinical lab context.
• One year of training in an approved CLS intern program; 1–2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Must have valid California CLS license (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Report results to health centers and public health departments as indicated.
• Maintain complete records for QA, QC, proficiency testing, and data analysis.
• Perform proficiency testing in CLIA-compliant manner.
• Follow corrective action procedures per QA plan.
• Participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
