Planned Parenthood Northern California (PPNorCal) seeks a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in San Rafael, CA, to join our onsite laboratory team. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a comprehensive benefits package and strong adherence to quality and safety standards.

The CLS will perform STI testing, report results to health centers, and ensure compliance with CLIA/OSHA regulations, QA/QC, and proficiency testing. Strong organizational and independent work skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
• One-year training in an approved Clinical Laboratory Scientist intern program.
• One to two years related experience or equivalent combination.

Aufgaben

• Perform laboratory testing in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Perform G-onorrhea and Chlamydia tests by amplified probe; other procedures may be added.
• Report results to PPNorCal Health Centers and public health departments as indicated.
• Answer phones, look up results, take orders for specimen tubes, and refer questions as needed.
• Maintain records for QA, QC, proficiency testing, and data analysis.
• Perform proficiency testing in compliance with CLIA regulations.
• Follow corrective action procedures per QA Plan.
