Synectics Inc. is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform specimen handling, testing and reporting within a compliant, high‑volume environment.

The role requires proficiency in quality control, documentation, and collaboration with departments to ensure accurate results and patient confidentiality. Eastern time operations and ongoing safety training are part of the position.

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology preferred; or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associates degree in a Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or Qualified as Technologist under 42 CFR 493.1433.
• Foreign educated candidates must provide credential evaluation (IERF).
• US educated candidates must provide a detailed original transcript.
• National certification as MT/MLT preferred (ASCP or AMT).
• 1 year clinical experience (high complexity testing) preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical lab experience for BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology.

Responsabilités

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and records.
• Maintain proficiency testing records and ensure testing aligns with patient samples.
• Analyze specimens using approved procedures and SOPs.
• Review and release test results.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines.
