• Tests clinical specimens following established procedures.
• Quality control and assurance to ensure accurate results.
• Maintains and troubleshoots instrumentation and test systems.
• Prioritizes duties to meet turnaround times.
• Keeps current on competencies and regulatory standards.
• Participates in inventory control and cost-effective lab operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsabilités

• Performs all processes associated with testing of laboratory specimens.
• Conducts quality control and assurance activities to maintain accuracy in specimen testing and reporting.
• Maintains and troubleshoots complex instrumentation and test systems, documenting corrective actions.
• Prioritizes duties and manages workload to meet established laboratory turnaround times.
• Stays updated on annual competencies, continuing education assignments, and regulatory standards.
• Practices efficient use of supplies and actively participate in inventory control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Formation

Associate degree in medical laboratory technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science
