Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher degree in medical technology/clinical lab sciences, or will graduate within 120 days.
In lieu of degree, must be registered in the area specialty (blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, or immunology/molecular pathology).

Responsibilities

Conducts clinical laboratory tests and analysis in hematology, microbiology, immunology, clinical chemistry, and urinalysis.
Analyzes samples of biological material for chemical content or reaction.
Cultivates and tests microbial organisms; prepares slides for microscopic study and diagnosis.
Selects specimens and media for cell culture using aseptic technique.
Operates and maintains laboratory equipment and ensures safety practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
