Job summary

TridentCare in Brockton, MA is seeking a Laboratory MLS/MLT to join our fast-paced clinical lab. You will perform tests ordered by physicians, ensure accuracy, and follow all quality control procedures.

Requires Associates or Bachelor's in Biology/related field, MLS/MLT/CLS/MT certification, CLIA High Complexity qualification, and ability to work with nurses and physicians in a busy environment. On-site, full-time with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor degree with major coursework in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Certification as MLS/MLT/CLS/MT by ASCP/AMT/AAB or equivalent.
• Must meet CLIA High Complexity testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory tests accurately and timely following policies.
• Maintain records of patient test results and proficiency testing.
• Adhere to quality control and instrument calibrations.
• Identify problems that affect test performance.
• Document corrective actions when systems deviate.
• Communicate with nurses and physicians to coordinate care.
