Job summary

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Scientist to join the LAB team. The role performs chemical, bacteriological, serological, hematological and microscopic procedures with high complexity testing under CLIA guidelines.

Night shifts are 12-hour, 7 on/7 off, at 0.9 FTE. Requires a bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science and MLS/MT-ASCP or equivalent within 12 months of hire; BLS certification may be obtained if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or related field.
• MLS-ASCP, MLS-ASCP or equivalent certification within 12 months of hire.
• Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, hematological and microscopic procedures.
• Exercise independent judgment and interpretation in the Central Clinical Laboratory.
• Operate high-complexity testing under CLIA guidelines and ensure quality control.
