Certifications: Current license in practice state (if applicable); ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technologist. Certification maintenance requirements apply for certifications obtained after January 1, 2004.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency with Windows applications, effective communication, analytical skills, judgment, interpersonal skills.
Job Duties: Conduct routine and specialized tests, analyze quality control data, ensure regulatory compliance, participate in performance improvement, manage supplies, adapt communication to patient needs, and perform other duties as required.
