Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years clinical lab experience, OR
• Associate degree with 2 years in clinical lab, OR
• Bachelor’s degree with clinical lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen processing and testing independently for moderate and high complexity.
• Analyzes test results with understanding of disease states and test correlations.
• Performs preventive maintenance and troubleshoots instrument issues as needed.
• Manages quality control, documents data, and communicates QC information.
• Reviews or updates departmental procedures and policies.
• Keeps competencies current and cross-trains to support flexible staffing.
