Responsibilities

• Perform all instruments and testing methods applicable to the assigned role in accordance with CLIA requirements.
• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, test analysis, reporting, and maintenance of patient test records.
• Maintain records demonstrating proficiency testing samples are tested consistently with patient specimens.
• Adhere to quality control policies and document QC activities, calibrations, and maintenance.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify supervisors or directors as appropriate.
• Document corrective actions when test systems deviate from performance specifications.
