Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in medical technology/clinical lab sciences or registered in the area specialty.
• If qualifying under 'in lieu of degree' — must hold a recognized registration (AAB, MT, ASCP, NCA, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of laboratory protocols, analytical methods, and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical lab tests in hematology, microbiology, immunology, chemistry, and urinalysis.
• Analyze biological samples for chemical content or reactions.
• Prepare specimens/media for cell culture using aseptic technique.
• Assess blood for cell counts, morphology, and transfusion compatibility.
• Operate and maintain spectrophotometers, calorimeters, flame photometers, and analyzers.
• Promote safety, infection control, and quality assurance practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
