Sutter Health's MMC-Memorial Medical Center is seeking a California-licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist to execute procedures across pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic stages. You will perform phlebotomy, specimen processing, QC/QA, and complex testing, ensuring accuracy and patient safety in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in biology or related field, CA CLS license, and the ability to work nights on a full-time schedule with 35 hours per week.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of routine specimen collection, preparation, testing applications, laboratory operations, and QA in clinical areas.
• Ability to interact compassionately with patients of diverse ages and backgrounds.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic and complex laboratory procedures including phlebotomy, specimen processing, QC/QA, and testing (CLIA classified).
• Support blood product management if in transfusion service and ensure compliance with privacy and safety standards.
• Respond to workflow fluctuations, equipment or system issues, and hand-offs between shifts.
