Qualifications

• Certification within 18 months after employment from ASCP, NCA, AMT or AAB.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment and maintained thereafter.
• Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood specimens by venipuncture or capillary methods across age groups.
• Performs basic and advanced laboratory procedures with appropriate quality control.
• Calibrates, standardizes, operates, and maintains instruments; troubleshoots issues.

Education

MT or CLS certification within 18 months

BLS certification within 90 days
