Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology and meets qualifications as general testing personnel in accordance with CLIA'88 regulations.
• Eligible to take ASCP, AMT or equivalent certification exam and must pass within one year of hire date.
• 1-year medical laboratory experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CLIA waived and non-waived testing according to approved procedures.
• Perform, verify, and report laboratory results in accordance to established guidelines.
• Identify issues that may affect assay performance and take corrective action including notification of supervisors.
• Perform analyzer maintenance, calibration, and quality control procedures.
• Assist with reagent and supplies inventory management and clerical tasks.
