Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens by venipuncture or capillary method for patients of all ages.
• Perform both basic and advanced laboratory tests and ensure quality results.
• Calibrate, standardize, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot instruments; perform quality control.
• Document all tasks; review QC, proficiency testing results, and specimen rejections.
• Adhere to infection control and safety policies; train others as directed by management.
• Maintain supplies and inventory; minimize waste and manage storage.
