Qualifications

• Knowledge of MLT principles, practices, concepts, and theories for independent work.

• Ability to interpret laboratory results with clinical context.

Responsibilities

• Performs a full range of laboratory testing on biological specimens.
• Performs routine laboratory testing in all areas of the clinical laboratory.
• Packages laboratory specimens for reference laboratories.
• Instructs students and new employees in approved techniques as assigned.
• Maintains quality control and proficiency testing according to procedures.
