Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Assistant for a part-time first shift to support specimen handling and routine laboratory operations at the Fort Worth location. The role requires adherence to CLIA regulations and offers mentorship and growth opportunities in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining specimen integrity, conducting test procedures, and ensuring quality control and documentation.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • CLIAFE – must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
  • Completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy preferred.
  • 6 Months experience as a phlebotomist highly preferred.
  • Hospital experience highly preferred.
  • PBT (ASCP) – Phlebotomy Technician preferred upon hire.

Work hours:
  • 24 hours/weekdays and times: Tuesday-Friday 4:00 AM – 8:00 AM
  • Every Saturday 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM; Rotating holidays
