Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant for the Day shift to support the Cytology department. You will contribute to specimen processing and procedural workflows in a fast-paced hospital laboratory.

The role requires a high school diploma, CLIA compliance awareness, and phlebotomy-related experience. Strong communication, critical thinking and organizational skills are essential for safe, accurate testing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CLIAFE – must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
• Specimen processing experience highly preferred.
• 6 Months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy preferred.
• PBT (ASCP) – Phlebotomy Technician preferred upon hire.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.

Work hours:

• Monday - Friday, 8:300 PM – 5:00 PM
