Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant to support the Cytology department on the day shift in Fort Worth. You will assist with tissue processing and PAP specimen handling under supervision while ensuring specimen integrity and quality control.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CLIA compliance awareness, and preferred phlebotomy exposure or ASCP certification. Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CLIAFE – must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
• Specimen processing experience highly preferred.
• 6 Months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy preferred.
• PBT (ASCP) – Phlebotomy Technician preferred upon hire.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.

• Monday - Friday, 8:300 PM – 5:00 PM
