The University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Assistant I to support medical laboratory scientists across our facilities. Under direct supervision, you will perform routine lab support, enter data, and help with approved testing in various labs, ensuring compliance with CLIA requirements.
Responsibilities include receiving and accessioning samples, processing specimens, resolving issues with specimens, and handling add-on testing.

Under direct supervision, assists medical laboratory scientists by performing routine laboratory support duties and approved testing in any one of various specialized laboratories throughout UMMS, following departmental procedures and regulations stipulated by Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act.
