Qualifications

  • Two years of full-time experience as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant I at Roswell Park or equivalent setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or scientific field with one year of clinical or research experience.
  • Associate’s degree with two years of full-time clinical or research experience.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and document clinical and research specimens arriving in the lab.
  • Ensure specimens are accessioned, prepared, and routed to testing areas.
  • Support timely distribution of laboratory reports via multiple channels.
  • Respond to requests related to reports, specimen tracking, and testing information.
  • Maintain records and documentation for operations and compliance.
  • Assist with QC, QA, and routine equipment maintenance.

Two (2) years of full-time experience as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant I at Roswell Park; or2. Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or scientific related field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in a clinical or research setting requiring the use of medical/laboratory terminology; or3. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in a comparable medical/clinical setting; or4.
