Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Assistant- Trainer to develop and conduct job-specific training programs for staff and students, focusing on departmental use of computer systems, applications, operations, and workflow.

The role monitors trainee progress, documents competencies, and may require travel with occasional overnight stays. Scheduling may include weekends and evenings to accommodate training needs across locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years directly relevant experience within TriCore Reference Laboratories or equivalent.
• ASCP phlebotomy certification may be required and/or obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group and one-on-one training sessions for all new and existing employees and students.
• Develop, implement and document methods to monitor training progress and competency.
• Coordinate training for process or system changes with department managers and training teams.
• Develop systems to measure employee competencies for various career ladder positions.
• Ensure staff attend mandatory compliance, quality and staff training sessions.
• Serve as subject matter expert in cross-department meetings and policy development.
