Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science.
Six months experience as a technical generalist (preferred).
Must have MT/MLS or ASCP/AMT certification as listed.

Responsibilities

Performs all processes associated with testing of laboratory specimens to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Conducts quality control and assurance activities to maintain accuracy in testing and reporting.
Maintains and troubleshoots complex instrumentation and test systems.
Prioritizes duties to meet turnaround times for patient care.
Stays updated on competencies and regulatory standards.
Participates in inventory control to maintain cost-effective operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
