Job summary

Mercy Washington Laboratory in Washington, MO is seeking a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician for the night shift (8pm–6:30am, Mon–Thu). You will perform and interpret analyses on patient specimens using complex laboratory techniques and provide critical diagnostic information to medical staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree required for MT role; MLS/MT certification preferred.
• Experience: 2 years acceptable clinical laboratory experience as MLS/MT or equivalent, or certification eligible new MLS graduate.
• Certifications: MT/MLS or categorical certification through ASCP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs and interprets analysis on patient specimens through the use of complex laboratory techniques.
• Provides medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in alignment with Mercy mission, values and service standards.
